Head Instructor – Gibsons Yacht Club Learn To Sail
Gibsons Yacht Club requires a Head Instructor for its Learn To Sail program, mid June through August 2012. CYA Blue level qualification is desired. This person will be responsible to deliver courses through July and August. Courses operate from facilities in Gibsons Harbour and the sheltered waters of Shoal Channel in Howe Sound. Gibsons is reached in 90 minutes by bus and ferry from Vancouver, and Gibsons Yacht Club will assist with local accommodation. Sailing Instructor needed for 2012 Season
Club Locarno is looking for a sailing instructor qualified to deliver courses in CYA White Sail Levels I,2 and 3, as well as Bronze Sail Level 4. Other courses may include specialized catamaran sailing and spinnaker classes, and basic racing instruction.
Hours would be approximately 20 hours per week from the end of April to Mid-July. Class schedule to be determined, but will include weekday evenings and weekends. Pay is $25/hr.

Operations Manager - Part Time 

Operations Manager would be responsible for the day to day activities of the Club:
Experience with: membership / guests / volunteers; special events; customer service; budgets; summer sailing school; community partnerships; staffing; maintenance related duties and keeping accurate records. Training provided by current staff and Executive.
