BC Sailors qualifying for Olympics - May 01, 2012

Three BC Sailors have qualified for this summer's London Olympics:Both the female and male RSX Class boardsailors, Nikola Girke and Zav Plavsic have won their Olympic trials. Zac will be competing in his second Olympic regatta, and Nikola her 3rd, having raced in the 2004 Olympics in the 470 class before making the switch to boardsailing. Bruce Millar has qualified in the Sonar class for the Paralympic Games after switching from the 2.4 M class.

Other BC Sailors shoooting to make the Olympic team are Mike Leigh and Luke Ramsay in the 470, and Hunter Lowden in the 49er.Their trials being the upcoming World Championships in May.
